Guide To Apply Kajal Without Smudging In 5 Easy Steps

The eyes are the most captivating feature of the face. Glammed-up eyes can instantly enhance our entire look. On days when you don’t feel like dressing up, just a kajal or an eyeliner can do the trick.

Kajal is one makeup product that we can find in all our makeup boxes. No matter how much we love it, we might be concerned that it will smudge. However, you don’t have to stop using it just because you are dreading that it’ll overflow. Instead, you just need to know the right trick to apply it properly.

So, here are a few tips that will prevent your kajal from smudging.

Clean your Eye Area First

It is important to clean the area around your eyes before you apply kajal. Before you start applying kajal, we recommend you use a gentle cleanser to clean the area. You can also use ice to prep the area, thus making sure that it doesn’t get warm and oily before you apply the kajal.

Prep your Eyes

Just like you prep your face skin before applying makeup, it is also important to prep your eye area before applying kajal. After you have cleaned the area, prep it by applying an eye primer. This primer will give a good base and will help in better pigmentation. Make sure you use an eye primer for the eyes instead of the regular one as the area around the eyes is sensitive and needs special care. If you don’t have an eye primer, then you can also go for an oil-free foundation or concealer.

Loose Powder

Looe Powder is the most basic element of our everyday makeup. This not only helps us avoid the cakey look but will also let your makeup last long as it absorbs any excess oil

Right Technique

To prevent the kajal from smudging, you need to use the right technique. Start from the outer corner and then, move inwards. However, don’t apply it to the inner corners of your lower eyelids as it can cause smudging.

Right Kajal

Applying kajal may seem super easy but preventing it from smudging is the main thing. Therefore, follow these tips and your kajal will last long.
