Goan Prawn Curry

Ingredients

  • 2 cup coconut milk
  • salt as required
  • 200 gm onion
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
  • 6 black pepper
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 500 gm prawns
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 tablespoon refined oil
  • 4 red chilli
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 6 clove

How to make Goan Prawn Curry

  • Step 1. Prepare the prawn masala. In a mixer, grind cumin seeds, red chilli, coriander seeds, and black pepper together along with vinegar.
  • Step 2 .Marinate the prawns. Dust the prawns with salt and turmeric and keep it aside.
  • Step 3. Saute onion. Heat a pan on medium flame, add a little oil and saute chopped onion. Add the ground masala to it along with the prawns and fry until pink.
  • Step 4. Add coconut milk to the pan and bring it to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes and garnish with green chilli.
