Kerala – Sambhar recipe

What is Sambhar?

Sambhar is a South Indian dish made with lenthils, mixed vegatables, tamarind, herbs, spices and special sambhar spice powder

This dish is enjoyed with idlis, dosas, rice and in many forms. In a south Indian family, sambhar is a daily meal eaten with rice and papadum ( papad)

I am Kerala, my kiddo loves sambhar . There are 2 ways of making sambhar one with coconut and one without coconut.
